Description

This test measures lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) enzyme levels in the blood, which are released during tissue damage. Elevated LDH levels may indicate conditions such as liver disease, heart attack, muscle damage, or certain cancers. It is used as a general marker for cell and tissue health.
