Gamma-GT (GGT)

Description

This test measures gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT) levels in the blood, an enzyme involved in liver function. Elevated GGT levels can indicate liver disease, bile duct obstruction, or alcohol-induced liver damage. It is often used alongside other liver function tests to provide a comprehensive assessment.
