Beschrijving

The Anti-TPO test detects antibodies against thyroid peroxidase, an enzyme involved in thyroid hormone production. Elevated levels suggest autoimmune thyroid diseases, such as Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, where the immune system attacks the thyroid.
